Barbara Jessome: I am a teacher working with the Halifax Regional School Board. Although I have more than ten years in the classroom I am actually new to teaching. My ten years were spent working as an Education Program Assistant. Meeting and working with the special children in the learning centre environment convinced me to return to school and become a teacher so I could learn to do more to help them achieve their fullest potential. That is also why I have now enrolled in the Masters in Inclusive Education program.
